Discussion on photography and architecture in *Architektura Murator*
I took part in a conversation devoted to the relationship between photography and architecture, which was published in *Architektura Murator* magazine (issue 08/2024). The meeting took place at the editorial office and had the form of a discussion entitled “Photography, Narrative, and Architecture.” The conversation focused on the contemporary role of architectural photography, ways of telling stories about buildings through images, and the responsibility of the photographer in the era of social media and Instagram culture. During the discussion, we addressed topics related to the honest portrayal of architecture, balancing aesthetics and documentation, as well as the influence of context, light, and visual narrative on the perception of architectural projects. The conversation was also an opportunity to reflect on collaboration between photographers and architects, and on how photography can support an understanding of the design concept rather than reducing it solely to an attractive image.
