Collaboration with NOW Architects
I worked with the Łódź-based architectural practice NOW on a series of architectural photography projects documenting selected realizations by the studio. Founded by Włodzimierz Nowakowski and Andrzej Owczarek, NOW is one of the most established architectural offices in Łódź, with a long-standing and diverse portfolio of built projects.
Teal and Sepia Office at OFF Piotrkowska Center
One of the key projects I photographed was the Teal and Sepia office complex, located within OFF Piotrkowska Center, one of Poland’s most recognizable post-industrial revitalization sites. The shoot included exterior photographs taken during the day and in the evening, interior photography, and aerial drone images that helped place the buildings within their dense and vibrant urban context. A central focus of the session was capturing the dialogue between the preserved historic fabric of the Sepia building and the contemporary architecture of the Teal office building. Traces of history, authentic materials, and the calm, modern form of the new structure together create a coherent composition typical of Łódź projects that successfully combine old and new architecture.
Awangarda Łagiewniki Park Housing Estate
In the following weeks, my collaboration with NOW continued with a photographic session of the Awangarda Łagiewniki Park residential complex, located at the edge of the Łagiewniki Forest. While photographing this project, I focused on the relationship between architecture and landscape, the spatial layout between the buildings, and the sculptural shaping of the terrain. The images were intended to show both the overall scale of the development and the more intimate character of the courtyards and rooftop terraces, which are key elements of this residential project.
