Collaboration with Stoprocent Architekci – residential and office architecture photography
My collaboration with the Warsaw-based studio Stoprocent Architekci, led by Przemysław Kaczkowski, began with an architectural photography session of the single-storey “House K.” From the very beginning, my intention was to create images that would go beyond simple documentation and instead tell a story about the house and its everyday life. For this reason, the session was carried out at different times of day, with a strong focus on how the interiors relate to their surroundings and how light shapes the space. Particular attention was also given to architectural details carefully designed by the architects. While photographing House K, I concentrated on building a calm visual narrative through light, façade rhythm, and the smooth transition between interior and exterior spaces. Details, materials, and proportions were as important as the overall views of the building.
Centrum Praskie Koneser – architecture within an urban ensemble
Another stage of our collaboration involved photographing the office buildings “M” and “N” located within the Centrum Praskie Koneser in Warsaw. In this case, it was essential for me not only to present the architecture itself, but also to show it as a coherent element of a larger urban complex. The relationship between the new buildings and the historic fabric of the former distillery site played a key role in the photographic narrative. Drone photography made it possible to capture the scale of the entire development and to show how the new architecture fits into the urban structure. These aerial views were complemented by street-level images, presenting the buildings in everyday use and highlighting their role within the public space.
House S in Warsaw and the House by the River in Sochaczew
In the following years, I also completed architectural photography sessions of House S in Warsaw and the House by the River in Sochaczew for Stoprocent Architekci. House S is a project based on a composition of repeating modules arranged like stacked blocks. Different functions of the house are placed on various levels, creating semi-private spaces such as a patio and covered terraces. While photographing this project, I focused on the relationship between the building’s form, light, and the garden, which acts as a green buffer providing privacy for the residents. A particularly distinctive element is the preserved birch tree on the plot, which naturally becomes part of the architecture and is visible from inside the house. The House by the River required a different approach, more closely tied to the surrounding landscape and open space. In both cases, the assignments involved complete photography sessions, including daytime and evening images as well as interior photography. My collaboration with Stoprocent Architekci is an example of projects where architecture and photography meet through attention to detail, proportion, and a consciously constructed visual narrative of place.
