UNStudio – Architectural Photography of The Bridge in Warsaw
In autumn 2025, I completed a comprehensive architectural photography shoot in Warsaw commissioned by UNStudio. The studio was founded in 1988 in Amsterdam by Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos and has operated internationally for many years. Today, UNStudio runs seven offices worldwide and employs more than 400 architects and designers, reflecting the scale and experience of the practice. The studio is responsible for the design of The Bridge, a contemporary high-rise located in one of Warsaw’s fastest-growing business districts, near Daszyńskiego Roundabout.
The Bridge stands at the intersection of Towarowa and Grzybowska streets, giving it strong urban significance. The project combines contemporary architecture with the historical context of the site. The tower adjoins the former Bellona publishing house from 1958, and the two buildings are connected by an 18-metre-high lobby, creating a cohesive composition of new and historic architecture. The building offers approximately 49,000 m² of usable floor area, primarily modern office space designed to meet current standards for working environments in central Warsaw.

Scope of the Shoot and Urban Context
The photo shoot covered a full architectural documentation, as my aim was to present the project in a comprehensive and coherent way. I produced exterior photographs during the day, at dusk, and at night, complemented by aerial images captured with a drone and photographs of selected interior common areas. This approach made it possible to convey both the scale of the building and the way it functions within its surroundings. The final material includes general views of the volume, its relationship with the Bellona building, carefully designed greenery around the site, and close-ups of architectural details.
As an architectural photographer, I wanted to show The Bridge not only as an individual object but also as part of a broader urban structure. Aerial images highlight its relationship with the skyline of Wola and the Daszyńskiego Roundabout area, while street-level photographs emphasize the façade rhythm, proportions, and dialogue between contemporary architecture and the existing urban fabric. The result of the collaboration with UNStudio is a consistent visual narrative combining architectural photography, interior photography, and drone imagery, created for image communication and professional publications.
