Collaboration with Vastint Poland
Vastint Poland is a real estate developer active on the Polish market since the early 1990s, known for large-scale office and hotel developments in major cities across the country. Over several years of collaboration, I carried out comprehensive architectural photography sessions for some of the company’s key investments. These included the Business Garden complexes in Warsaw, Wrocław, and Poznań, as well as the Brama Portowa office buildings in Szczecin. Each project was approached individually and treated as a separate photographic story, requiring a careful understanding of the site and its context before the shoot began.
Business Garden: Architecture and Urban Scale
Business Garden in Warsaw is a large office park located near Żwirki i Wigury Street, one of the city’s main transport corridors. The development consists of multiple buildings with diverse functions, including offices, retail spaces, a hotel, and a conference center. A defining feature of the project is its extensive greenery and semi-public outdoor spaces, which give the complex the character of a contemporary business park rather than a closed office campus. During the sessions, my goal was not only to document the buildings themselves but also to show the relationship between architecture and landscape, as well as the way the complex functions within the urban structure. Capturing the rhythm of façades, material details, and the clarity of the overall layout was essential.
Comprehensive Sessions and Aerial Photography
Each photographic session carried out for Vastint Poland covered a full scope of work. I produced general architectural views, detailed shots of façades, and interior photographs, mainly focusing on entrance zones and representative spaces. In the case of large-scale office developments, ground-level photography alone was often insufficient to fully convey the scale of the investment. For this reason, aerial photography played a key role. Drone images allowed me to clearly present the overall layout of the developments, their relationship with the surrounding city, and their urban character. Combined with ground-level photographs, this approach resulted in a coherent and complete visual documentation, showing the architecture both in detail and in its broader metropolitan context.
