Collaboration with AHR Architects
AHR is one of the oldest and largest architectural practices in Europe. As part of our collaboration, I was invited to produce comprehensive architectural and interior photography for a selection of their projects in Poland. The scope included eight office and residential buildings located in the Tri-City area, Łódź, and Warsaw. The photo shoots were scheduled for late autumn, which brought additional challenges related to changing weather conditions and short daylight hours. At the same time, this period allowed me to create a diverse visual narrative, showing the architecture in varied lighting and atmospheric conditions.
Projects in the Tri-City, Łódź, and Warsaw
The first stage of the work took place in Gdańsk and Gdynia. I photographed office complexes such as Łużycka Office Park, Łużycka Plus, and the Neptun Office Center. In order to clearly present their scale and urban context, I complemented ground level architectural photography with aerial drone images. Further sessions were carried out in Łódź and Warsaw. In Łódź, I documented residential projects including Apartamenty na Wspólnej and Mieszkanie przy Tulipanie, as well as office buildings such as Sterlinga Business Center and the mBank office building. Each project required an individual approach, shaped by its location, scale, and function.
Full Architectural Photography Sessions
To present each building as completely as possible, every session included photographs taken at different times of day and night, as well as aerial views. An important part of the work was also interior photography of entrance and lobby areas, which helped complete the architectural story and show how the buildings function on a daily basis. The final result is a coherent photographic documentation that presents not only the architecture itself, but also its urban context and the way the buildings are experienced by their users.
